Programmer Analyst III (2 Positions)

Description:

This position will be expected to: a. Respond to requests from IDIS (Insurance Division Information System) users (Windows-based and Web-based) for bug fixes, user and security setup, and other maintenance using .NET, C#, and SQL Server 2000. b. Develop web-based functions of IDIS according to team standards as assigned. c. Mentor less experienced members of team in .NET development as needed and according to team standards.

Basic Skills

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of current experience in this job class.
• Experience using current application architecture design and development concepts, methodologies, and tools resulting in quality, stable, and maintainable computer software. (2 years)

Additional Skills

• Experience with ASP.NET webforms and winforms and C# and the Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/2005 integrated development environment (2 years)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 7,2000, and or 2005 database development and stored procedure creation. (2 years)
• Experience with a formal software development life cycle and documentation such as agile, engineering, IDEFO IDEF1, spiral, or waterfall types. (2 years)
• Experience with Crystal Reports 8.5 or above. (1 year)
• Experience translating detailed design specs into computer software. (2 years)
• Experience must include program coding, program maintenance, user interface development maintenance, and problem determination resolution. (2 years)
• Ability to work effectively on a team of analysts, programmers, and user staff in an application development environment. (2 years)
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with team members. (2 years)
